Why is the Tyranny of the Zero Liability Voter Wrong?
I have had many responses to the “Tyranny of the Zero Liability Voter” but none of the responses against the premise has had intellectually honest debate.
I have been told that “If I were in the position of the ZLV I would speak differently”. This is an emotional argument that seeks to justify tyranny. There is no justification for tyranny. The primary philosophy of America is that everyone has equal opportunity to create wealth for himself. This is not a guaranty of success, only a guaranty of opportunity. Wealth is created by people. Wealth is only created when human intellect and ingenuity act on a resource. The wealth belongs solely to the individual that created it, not to society. To argue otherwise claims ownership by the collective of the individual’s creation. To the creator belongs ownership. This premise is embodied by the copyright and patent provisions in our Constitution.
It is not greed or intolerance for a person who creates wealth to claim ownership and the right to distribute that wealth as he or she chooses.

The tyranny is involved when those who don’t have ANY liability, meaning they pay NO Federal Income Taxes, exercise majority rule over the rest. This is also known as Tyranny of the Majority, a fact the Founders sought to prevent using the Senate (originally appointed by and subject to the State Legislatures) and the Electoral College (subject to the voters directly).
Tyranny of the Majority in the most simple form is two wolves and a turkey voting on what’s for dinner.
All taxes are not the same. Primary reason for sales taxes is STATE budgetary requirements. State income taxes also provide for that. Some sales taxes are county and city.
Property taxes provide for county and city needs. In other words LOCAL taxes for local needs.
Federal income tax revenue is the general fund that federal programs are based on. So the programs created by Congress are funded by federal taxes. The Zero Liability Voter does NOT pay federal income taxes.
I have been mistaken about the 16th Amendment but it changes nothing in the plan. I thought it had not been properly ratified but it seems that it was. The reason it must be repealed before a Fair Tax or a Flat Tax is implemented is because in our history Congress would continue the old tax and take more money from us.
The plan would have to be repeal the 16th Amendment and create new taxation by the replacement.
As for the socialist plans of the current government, they are going to fail. The history of the world proves that socialism in any form doesn’t work.
