The opposite of the American Idea sees each individual as just another drain on finite government resources. The reason is because the anti-American Idea desires a government that is large enough to provide parenthood to all citizens. The American Idea is that government is only useful in providing things like borders and defense, roads and bridges, and other infrastructure needs.
In conclusion either we are supporting America or not. America is not the dirt we stand on it’s the idea of liberty.
