The Tyranny of the Zero Liability Voter

There are an increasing number of Zero Liability Voters. These are voters who pay NO federal income tax. Any person who, when they fill out their income tax return, receives more money back than they paid into the system is a Zero Liability Voter.
A ZLV has no regard for the programs that Congress funds from tax dollars. To say, “IF I made enough money to pay taxes I would still support these programs” is dishonest. Until tested, no one can truthfully say that, and even if it WERE true what gives one person the right to lay obligation on another by use of government force.
Beyond that, what part of the Constitution gives the government the responsibility for any entitlement programs? Roosevelt got the interpretation of the “General Welfare Clause” published that anything done for one must be done for all.
(continues below)
If Congress would withdraw to just the specific expenditures that are mandated by the Constitution the country would be better off.
If the guy that occupies the Whitehouse would respect the Constitution as well he would be helping.
If the tax system were simplified to a flat tax, or a fair tax and repealing the corporate taxes and the 16th Amendment then there would be NO ZLV.
Only if we all pay into the system will we all have a stake in the outcome.
If you wonder why you got this it is because most people that know me and claim to THINK got this. You may not agree, and if not, break the argument don’t think that simply disagreeing is enough. Break the argument with truth.

There shouldn’t be a federal income tax at all unless it’s apportioned as specified in the Constitution. Corporations, since they enjoy the benefits of person-hood, should never be exempted from any taxes an individual pays. If the corporations are tied to the same taxes the average Joe is responsible for they can use the vast power they’ve been granted to fight higher taxes. While a flat tax or a Vat tax is bandied around I think the people should be demanding no federal taxes, an elimination of the Federal Reserve, sound currency and the government living within it’s means (balanced budget and absolutely no deficit spending).
