President Obama Goes to Church for the First Time

Sunday Paper - April 12th, 2009

Today, Easter Sunday will be the first time Barack Obama attends church in the Washington, D.C. area as President of the United States of America.  Some might say it is troubling that the president (who calls himself a Christian) would be one of those people that attends only on Easter and Christmas. 

One certainly has to question his level of commitment, especially after commenting that the United States of America is a nation of citizens (not Christians, not Jews, etc.)  Perhaps he has just not yet found someone as capable of guiding his spirit and strengthening his faith as the eloquent Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
