HHS Secretary Sebelius does not See Human Life as Sacred

Barack Obama has once again appointed an upstanding citizen to his cabinet. After Tom Daschle withdrew from the position for income tax evasion to the tune of a sum total of more than $150,000, Obama has appointed former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, (D) to be our new United States Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Sadly, “Catholic” Sebelius refuses to stop the “Bleeding Kansas” barbarism and infanticide in Wichita. “Gov Kathleen Sebelius is protecting Tiller … she is not fit to serve,” Bill O’Reilly, May 30, 2007.
Sebelius’ record on abortion is appalling. In April of 2008 she vetoed House Substitute for Senate Bill 389 - Comprehensive Abortion Reform Act. The legislation would have tightened late-term abortion laws and prevent minors from enduring “coerced abortions.” She also has been closely linked to late-term abortionist George Tiller, also known throughout the sate of Kansas as “Tiller the Baby Killer,” as he boasts of performing more than 60,000 abortions (with a penchant for those of the late-term variety). In 2007, Sebelius threw a lavish, private party for Tiller and the staff of his Wichita abortion clinic at the governor’s mansion. “Dinner for 25,” as it was called was on the state of Kansas’ dime. At the time, Tiller was under fire, being investigated by the Attorney General’s office.
While Sebelius entertained Tiller and the entire staff of his abortion clinic, Women’s Health Care Services, TIller was under criminal investigation by the Attorney General’s office, which led to the filing of 19 criminal charges against him for committing illegal late term abortions. Also at that time, the Legislature was considering a resolution forcing the Attorney General to charge Tiller, amid intense public pressure.
Sebelius, who claims to be a Catholic, was asked by Joseph Naumann, Kansas City Archbishop, to refrain from receiving Holy Communion because of her morally unconscious views on abortion. There is little comfort for Americans in knowing that this person will be overseeing “Health and Human Services” for the next four years.
