Rubin, $122 Billion, and Obama

The same day the media blasted us with the news of financier Bernard Madoff’s arrest for his “Ponzi scheme,” which cost investors $50 billion, there was nothing but silence surrounding a lawsuit that was filed against former Clinton Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin.   Rubin conducted his own “Ponzi scheme,” looting $122 billion from Citigroup shareholders.  Jamie Rubin, Robert’s son, just so happens to be Obama’s largest fundraiser [more of this... Oregon Governor to Propose a Mileage Tax

Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski (D), after realizing that lower gas prices and more fuel efficient cars equate to less gas tax revenue, is proposing a mileage tax for his state.  If passed, a GPS unit will be used to “uniquely identify and track the location of every car on the road.”  I guess he’s never heard of toll roads or the Fourth Amendment… [more of this...
